This is a walkthrough for Chapter 2 in Good Pizza, Great Pizza.

In this chapter, the story follows the events of Chapter 1. You will meet the Stewards of Sacred Ingredients, whose headquarters will replace Alicante's across the street, Peppertiti, with a return appearance by Rufus Goldworthy.

New ingredients in this chapter are Wheat Dough, Bacon, Pineapple, Anchovy, Ham and Basil.

The Landlord who first appeared in Chapter 1 will acquaint you with a new app on the MyPad, Pie Chart, which will affect the amount paid for rent.

Festivals

Unlike Chapter 1, the festivals in this and later chapters do not trigger on specific days.

• The Wheat Festival requires Wheat Dough.
• The Pineapple Festival requires Pineapple, plus Olive and Bell Pepper from Chapter 1 for a Steward's trial.
• The Anchovy Festival requires Anchovy.
• The Basil Festival requires Basil, plus Mushroom, Olive, Onion and Bell Pepper from Chapter 1 for a Steward's trial.
• The Pork Festival requires Bacon and Ham, plus Pepperoni and Sausage from Chapter 1 for a Steward's trial.
• The Hawaiian Festival requires Pineapple and Ham, plus Wheat Dough and Mushroom for Peppertiti's trial.

Steward trials and Peppertiti

Initial meeting

On Day 36 is the first meeting with the Stewards, who order a pizza to test your skills:

The saucesayers have foreseen a transcendent za, so we intend to test you with trials of talent and taste. But for now, we want three pies. One plain. One vegetarian. One with meat.

Make them three pizzas^[1] with the ingredients you have unlocked. They want one cheese pizza; one cheese pizza with Pepperoni and Sausage; and one cheese pizza with Mushroom, Olive, Onion and Bell Pepper.

The following day, on Day 37, the first steward will return alone:

I am a saucesayer. Make me a pizza that reveals your destiny.

There are no ingredient requirements for this order, so you can make them any pizza you'd like.

Basil Steward's trial

The first steward will return during the Basil Festival:

Can you bring balance to the sauce? I seek a pizza of peace, respectful of mother earth and her bounty.

Make their order,^[2] a cheese pizza with half Mushroom and Onion on one side, and half Olive, Bell Pepper and Basil on the other side, to pass the first trial and complete the Pizza of Peace achievement for  10.

Pineapple Steward's trial

The second steward will return during the Pineapple Festival:

If your pizzas are truly elite, prepare me a pie that is totally sweet.

Make their order,^[3] a pizza with Sauce, Olive, Bell Pepper and Pineapple, to pass the second trial and complete the All the Fruit, Hold the Meat achievement for  10.

Wheat Steward's trial

The third steward will return during the Wheat Festival:

Make their order,^[4] a cheese pizza on Wheat Dough, to pass the third trial and complete the ... achievement for  10.

Anchovy Steward's trial

The fourth steward will return during the Anchovy Festival:

Some believe that your pizza was foretold by the saucesayers. I think there's something fishy about you... and I want you to prove it.

Make their order,^[5] a half Sauce and Anchovy pizza with half nothing else, to pass the fourth trial and complete the Something Fishy achievement for  10.

Pork Steward's trial

The fifth steward will return during the Pork Festival:

Saddle up, buckaroo, I reckon you've slung your fair share of pies, but if'n you're tough tootin' enough for my trial, I'm gonna need to see a mighty meat pie.

Make their order,^[6] a cheese pizza with Pepperoni, Sausage, Bacon on both sides and Ham on one side only, to pass the fifth trial and complete the Saddle Up, Buckaroo achievement for  10.

Final trial

The sixth steward will return during the Hawaiian Festival:

My partners report that you have passed all the trials, but the saucesayers foresaw a transcendent za.

There are no ingredient requirements for this order, so you can make them any pizza you'd like. Regardless of what you make for them, their dialogue will still be the same. Completing this order will complete the Transcendent Za achievement for  10.

Peppertiti

Peppertiti will show up a couple times throughout the chapter: once before the fourth festival and again before the fifth festival. Her last visit will be during the Hawaiian Festival:

Risen up from earth's decay and sun's radiant nectar required
Death's repose cannot be savored without sweet slice of life.
Two sides balanced and made whole.

Make her order,^[7] a cheese pizza on Wheat Dough with half Mushroom and half Pineapple, to fulfill the prophecy and complete the Two Sides Balanced achievement for  15. You will also receive the Pizzaria Protector to display on the counter.

Rufus Goldworthy's startup

On Day 38, Rufus will return to the shop:

Hello again, I know this is an odd request, but could you give me a pizza on the house?"
"I'm not begging for food. Just collecting data for an app idea I came up with recently. Any pizza would work fine.

You will need to invest at least  100 in his first startup business to receive the  50 reward from him, followed by another  150 in his second startup to receive the final  340 reward from him. If you do not invest in his second business, which is later revealed to be the Zazoom delivery app, it will still be accessible in Chapter 3.

Like his orders in Chapter 1, you can make him any pizza you'd like.

First investment

On Day 45, Rufus will return with good news:

I've hit a major breakthrough, thanks to your delicious donation! I just need $100 in cash, and Pizzapedia will finally get its worldwide release!

Give him  100, as your investment will be paid back with interest later on.

Repayment

On Day 52, it seems Rufus's app wasn't well-received:

I'm sorry, but the app hasn't been doing so well. This is only half of what you gave me, but I'll pay you back someday.

You can choose to take the  50, although he will mention that he now needs to find a place to sleep. If you choose to let him keep it, he will thank you for your generosity and be relieved that he doesn't have to skip meals.

Second investment

On Day 59, Rufus will return with an idea that he's certain will do great:

Look, I know you have no reason to trust me. But I came up with another idea, and it's gold. I just need $150 in cash to get it going.

Give him  150 for the final investment and you will receive the ZaZoom Poster to display in the shop.

Final repayment

On Day 76, Rufus will come to the shop a final time:

Hey, remember me? I can't thank you enough. I might have still been living on the streets without your help. Please, allow me to pay it forward.

He will give you  340 for helping to get his app launched.

Conclusion

This chapter's events are not fixed and completion time will vary player to player. Once all the Stewards' trials have been completed along with Peppertiti's, Chapter 3 should trigger.
